A Note to Self

It is us.
Who value friendship, relationship, based on what we see outside
Who judge people being melancholic or arrogant
Who can spread the beautiful words on the media
Yet too busy looking for what people think of,
Instead of looking back to selves; what am I looking for?

It is us.
Who sometimes do not notice the beautiful people out there;
the ones who do not wear the most expensive brands;
yet have their most valuable assets, ideas.
It is us, who sometimes are blinded by blings,
yet forget to look for sincerity.

It is us.
Who in this world, often misjudge caring as the symbol of weak,
and being ignorant as the symbol of tough.
What an irony, don't you think;
that deep inside we're yearning for acknowledgement,
or hoping, that someway we'll be loved unconditionally.

It is us.
Who often harden ourselves,
yet blame others.
Who can not understand,
but acting as if we do.
Who trying to please everybody,
yet again, forget to look back to selves.

It is us,
On the way to find our own paths.
