Let it go

"Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go,
Turn away and slam the door,
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the storm rage on,
The cold never bothered me anyway."
Idina Menzel in Frozen

If you've watched this Disney latest princess-movie, I'm sure you'll sing along this song. For Disney fans, it is so good to finally welcome again a beautiful and self-empowered princess. The song stuck in my head since I watched the movie. Despite of the magic effect of Elsa turned into a gorgeous icy-girl, and the mountain turned into beautiful castle with bridge made from ice, the song has such deep meaning.

Let it go, let it go. Sometimes I wonder how my life will be if I chose another path diverged in life before. If only I chose that university to attended right after high school, I might have had better connection and experiences. If only I attended that school, I might have known better way to pursue higher education. If only I chose that path...If only I had someone to tell me...If only and If only...

Enough, let it go. As Elsa said, "let it go, turn away and slam the door". I'll slam the door, close it and keep it as a meaningful lesson for my future. A friend once told me that "you should use what you have now to be a better person." So, here I stand now.

"Let it go, let it go
And I'll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone

Here I stand
In the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway."

I'm never going back. The past is in the past.
