*Lagu ini manis banget.."Times Square cant shine as bright as you..", katanya Tom Higgenson, sang vokalis..what a line..:)
Lagu ini memang untuk seorang yang bernama Delilah. Delilah DiCrescenzo, namanya, seorang atlit lari lulusan Columbia University. Sepertinya Higgenson bener-bener terinspirasi sama Delilah ini, lagu Hey There Delilah ini menurut saya manisss banget. Ini lagu favorit saya tahun 2008an. Mendengarkan lagu ini mengingatkan saya akan kamar merah yang pernah saya tempati dulu dan harapan-harapan saya yang sedikit konyol. Saya selalu kagum sama orang yang bisa main gitar dan saya mencari orang yang bisa memainkan lagu ini, tapi orang itu belum ada.

Lagu ini selalu berhasil membuat saya tersenyum-senyum sendiri. Membayangkan saya adalah Delilah dan dinyanyikan oleh Higgenson :P Sedikit gombal sih, tapi tetep aja, manis..Jarak yang jauh, "I'd walk to you if I had no other way" katanya Higgenson..Sweet huh? :)

Video klip lagu ini (kalo gak salah) ber-setting di Times Square, New York. Saya selalu ingin ke sana. Times Square dengan lampu-lampunya yang terang benderang. Teman saya yang sudah pernah ke sana bilang kalau Times Square itu rame,apalagi waktu malem; jalan berdesak-desakan. "Datang ke sana siang hari," itu sarannya. Hmm, semoga cita-cita saya itu bisa kesampaian. Datang ke Times Square di malam hari (karena kalau siang rasanya akan biasa-biasa aja..; maaf ya..hehe)
